I have a 1995 Camry 2.2 that will run perfect for 2 weeks, them randomly it won't start unless you crank on it for a minute or so. Parts I have replaced are fuel pump, fuel filter, ignition coil. This problem has occurred when the engine has been at operating temp and at initial start up.

Update
Exactly 2 weeks passed, I have had no issues. Started fine this morning at 5am, drove to work and left at 3pm, still started fine. Stopped at Menards for 15 minutes, came out of the store and it would just crank. Finally after 30 sec or so of turning on and off and cranking it started and all is fine. I wish it would just not start. It would be easier to figure out.

See if you can get a loaner for a igniter, then install it. See if a good igniter solves it. Also, check the igniter and ECM connections and wiring.

I have a spare parts car. I've never changed the igniter. I will try that. Thanks for the info.

If you have a spare parts car, swap the entire distributor. I had this problem a couple months ago......a friends car.....I swapped the distributor with one from a wrecking yard and it solved the problem. The distributor is super easy to replace and can only be installed one way. You can't install it incorrectly.
