vette vs. eclipse

I have a 1974 stingray, 350ci, oversized cam, msd, hooker headers, 750 4 barrell carter carb, and edlebrock intake manifold, its pushing around 370 hp and about 350ft/lbs. A 2001 mitsubishi eclipse spider comes up at around 60mph and does the old i want to race dance! Well this car could probably beat me from light to light all night long, but from 60 and up you dont want to mess with me. So i threw her down into 2nd and almost lifted her off the ground when she kissed the red line i threw her into 3rd and heard the pleasant chirp of the tire. When we pulled up to the next light the guys girlfriend was laughing. I guess she was laughing at him i don't know.
