2001 aurora 3.5 h motor head bolts striped block threads

help, have a 2001 aurora with a 3.5 h motor in it timing chain went and bent some valves in heads had heads redone and started installing onto engine block torqued head to block per delership spech. and on last pass of torque sequence one bolt striped threads out of block , the quistion i have is how to repair problem? i am checking into haveing all bolt holes drilled out and incerts put in and or studs put into block for heads am i on the right path or dose any one know of different fix to problem?

You are indeed on the right track. A dealer would use what are call "time-serts", which are inserts, then studs. It's is a common repair on Northstar type of engines.
