Charon - the Ducati looks amazing - excellent paint and decal work plus what fine details are available in the pictures that are posted.

Sadly for us this is another Bike build for you on the AF forum with no WIP and accompanying pictures and explanations of what you did at each step along the way up to the finished MotoGP bike.
I believe Charon that that you could show a lot of Bike builders a thing or two when you build a bike, but you don't include a real WIP like say for instance any of the ones done on the forum like Sandro - Marco - Sheen machine - Steve Nobel - Andrea etc.
Where These builders show pictures of the various steps of the build and give explanations so the reader can understand what they did and how they did it with respect to the bike build.

Please for the next bike - a real WIP with explanations
Thank you Charon

Cheers
John

Thanks for the mention John....:smokin:

Another cracking build, I have this one in the stash to do at some point....it seems so long ago that Vale was riding Ducati's....

I agree with John though....maybe include some wip photos upon your next completion...especially with these resin builds as they are not as easy to put together as the regular kits are...

Did you use florescent red or a solid red??

Paul - I remember reading every bit about your Assen Assasin - that you did and had all the pics and explained all the decals - paints - resin issues with the Renaissance kit. I learned so much from just that one build you did, not to mention the others you have shared on this forum with us. Then there is your model club website which is fantastic - you have a really talented group of modelers there where you live in your modelers club.
Paul - I remember sending email questions on the Assen Assasin, and you were very kind to take the time to respond to my questions when I was a newbie to the AF Forum.

Sandro is another i have learned so much from. i am still trying to master the TS chain sets like Sandro.
Then there is the new addition from China - Lu - he has displayed some beautiful built motoGP and world GP 500's with absolutely gorgeous paint and decals on some very tricky bikes. Sadly Lu also posts many beautiful pictures of a built motorcycle, but without any WIP work. I can see just from Lu's work that he can teach a lot of us much too.
If I did not mention you by name in my previous posting naming excellent Bike builders on the Forum - please accept my apology - I did not go back and look at my listing and pictures of all the builds you have done. I only named those out of memory, but I know there are many more that I did not name, and I give to you equal respect.

Thank you to all my friends on this forum that build the motoGP and World GP motorcycles, as that is what I like to build most and I have improved so much because of all of you sharing your techniques and passions on the Forum.

Cheers to you all
John

Hello, everyone, thanks, I appreciate your feedback !!

Red is a blend Zero paints : cca 60% bright red + 40% fluorescent red

Model building there on my home forum:

Completing the GP11 will be soon. Ducati motorcycles are nice, but I am a lover of the Yamaha M1. I prefer to stop by Yamaha for all versions, Ducati was also not built so well.

Thanks, charon
