2003 E350 6.8 COP change info needed

First post here. Hope you guys can help.
I'm trying to discover exactly what steps need to be taken in order to change the COPs in this beast. Shop manual is NO help.
PS I was born in 1932 and have hadalottacars incl a '69 dodge van and this is the worst obstacle course I've ever had to run
