checking spark plug gap on double side elcetrode plugs

So i printed the specs for the gap on my spark plugs but the ones in my engine have two side electrodes, and the one on the all data sheet was a single side electrode, so im not even sure that i should be checking the gap between the two side electrodes, i slid the gap tool in though and the clearance was way less than specs, should i bend it out or get new spark plugs. the sheet listed two types of spark plugs to use but i couldnt find these numbers on the plugs anywhere
