If i use a spark plug thread chaser to make sure the hole is clean before i put the plugs back in, wont some of whatevers in the threads just fall into the cylinder? ive seen videos where they put grease or oil or spray lubricant on the thread chaser to make bits of metal or whatver stick to the chaser when you pull it out, but does that get all of it? and whats the best lubricant to use?

if its a cast iron head you can use a magnetized tap or the grease method but some usually falls into the cyl hole. can blow most of it out spinning the engine over with the starter and with plug out. but unless the threads are messed up i would just leave it alone and screw the plug back in with some anti seize on the threads. keep it off the electrode

Don't try to fix it if it ain't broken.
