Bosch fuel pump on 08 Silverado

Did Bosch make the factory fuel pumps for GM trucks by any chance? When I was working on mine I happened to notice a Bosch sticker with the part number and all on the fuel pump and I was expecting to see,well AC Delco I guess.Just curious more than anything here. I've had the truck for about 3 and a half years now so unless the pump went bad when the original owner had it I'm thinking it's the pump that came with the truck.

I think your model year had the defective GM in tank pressure sensors. This would throw evap codes like gas cap code. this is part of the pump assy.

Ah ok.Would this have been something the owner would've had to replace or did they get changed under some kind of recall or warranty?It might explain why mine has a Bosch pump in it.
