what is the background? can you post a sample

if it has a horizon, it should look ok with a car placed on top...as long as the car is being viewed at the same angle as the background was when the photo's were taken.

if it is a pattern with no horizon or ''floor'', then it will always look as if it dosent belong there. perhaps when you cut the car out you could add a slight soft edge which should help the car blend in. (right mouse click on selected area, choose feather, the choose something like 1 or 2 for the soft edge)...it might work, im not sure

maybe your just not adding any shadows to it......and also make sure you change the lightness and darkness of the picture by pressing CTRL-L.........

when you put the car on it, make sure you 'delete' the windows so you can see the backround through it, it will look more real that way.
