Lost MY CAR KEYS NEED HELP

I LOST THE ONLY KEY TODAY TO MY 1995 3000GTSL.HOW DO I GET A KEY CODE ON MY CAR SO I CAN GET A NEW ONE MADE?:shakehead:shakehead:shakehead:shakehead

Its probably going to cost you some money no matter which route you take.
You probably have a few options.
#1 Call a local Mitsubishi dealer and see if they can cut you a new key based on your VIN. If they can you'll have to provide proof of ownership.
#2 Call around to local locksmiths. They have the tooling to be able to cut you a key by sticking a special blank into your ignition.
#3 I can't remember with 100% certainty, but I believe there might be a code on the door lock cylinders. If you remove your door panel with instructions found here http://www.stealth316.com/2-door-panel.htm you can gain access to the exterior door handle. There should be a bolt in the door jam, and another bolt at the front of the handle. Remove those two bolts, and pop the linkages out and the handle will come out, then you can remove the cylinder to look for the code.
I thought I might have an extra lock set around from a previous part out I did, but its no longer on my list so I might have sold it. Good luck.

key code is usually on the pass side door lock but a locksmith can confirm that for you
