Parking Brake not releasing 06 maxx

The parking brake pedal will apply and release, the lever at the caliper does not go back to the release position even when cable is detached at the equalizer. update, I just pried the lever back with a screw driver
UPDATE got the one side done the other side I am using one of those "brake cubes" cant seem to get the piston all the way in should be flush with the piston housing
