Keyless Fob too sensitive

Is there any realistic way to reduce the sensitivity of the fob? I have had at least 10 situations where my door/doors have opened unintentionally! The worst situation was on vacation when a side door opened while I was in a restaurant. My luggage, camera, laptop and my Apple Ipad were laying in plain view with the door wide open! Fortunately the folks in southern Colorado were honest and nothing was taken!:frown:
