dedicated to the Mighty Mick.

finished at 2014/12

sorry for that I can't make a WIP for my work because it needs much extra time to take the pictures.
due to my limited schedule I don't have such time to do that, I have to apologize.

Thank you for comments.

the white part on the cowlings are painted, I copied decals to make a masking template to accomplish the ideal outcome.

I've done another 1999 Criville's bike last month, I plan to post it later. thanks :)

Lu - another Fantastic build from you.

I know that it will slow you down a little, but surely you can take some quick pictures of the Work in Progress - I know you can do this Lu - just take some quick pictures with a cheap digital camera as you go along. The pictures do not need to be as perfect as the ones you post in the Completed Projects tab. Just take a few quick ones at your work station. Then when you finish You can take your perfect pictures of the finished model in your photo booth.

Once you have finished posting the Completed Photos - you can take the WIP pictures and post them in order of what you did and write a little description for each picture.

If you are worried about your English - Please do NOT there are many non-English speaking builders on this forum and I have never seen a person be mocked for their English. If you are still intimidated then let me know by PM and I will work with you and help with the descriptions.

Lu - you really do some excellent washes and heat staining on the exhaust pipes of both 2-stroke GP bikes and 4-stroke MotoGP bikes. I really would like to see how you do some of your work so that I can learn from you like I have from others on the AF website.

Lu - you do some of the cleanest builds with detail on models that there really isn't much out there for them that you can buy.
Lots of subtle details where there is no commercial detail set available.

Lastly Lu - what book was that you had in some of the pictures that had the NSR500 in it??

Another gorgeous GP bike from you Lu.

Cheers
John

Thank you for the encouraging! I will do the WIP with my next build. but for some reason I'm now far away from my tools and kits so there might a long time to wait... still thank you for all the praises!

I agree with the praises above, it's often in those close up pics that you can see the paint job flaws - so many curves and sharp cowl ends. But here there are none. Exhaust pipes are also great! I agree with John on the detailing, subtle and just where they are needed to lift the build!

Thank you John! your comment has always been very important advises!

the book with Honda racing motorcycles is below:

http://www.amazon.com/Honda-Grand-Machine-Archives-1979-2010/dp/4777919099

it's a good reference when building 90's bikes and the RCVs!

Best regard, Lu.

Hello,

First all Congratulations about the result, it is amazing.

On the other hand I have a question, the decals are painted or is it the original from the assembly kit?
