brake light 1999 Grand Marquis

1999 Grand Marquis DIGITAL DASH
I just had emergency brake cables and emergency brake replaced.
When the emergency brake is applied no light in the in the dash indicating that.
In the owners manual it shows a brake light location for the standard analogue dash. BUT in the section for digital dash I cannot find the light ; all other temp battery oil etc are listed and working.
Does the digital dash not have a brake light indicator? if yes is it a bulb I can replace or a module that can be changed? a reference to the bulb/module location would be helpful to me.
