Help with rear altezza's!!

Hey just installed em and the blinker fitting is really wierd!! :eek7:

The stock globe doesnt fit and it looks like it needs some sort of clip... does n e one else have the same fitting clear rear altezza's? or know what the blinkers are off?

Cause its going to be _very_ hard trying to find the blinker fitting :(

i am keeping the black centre piece cause i hate the chrome one.. i mite get it painted white below..

first 2 pics are of the altezza's and last two is of the fkin indicator fitting and compared to my normal indicator bulb.. are you indicators orange?

Screw altezza's... I can't find straight clears anymore... nobody makes them anymore, and peoples selling them on ebay most of the time are missing the center piece. :(

As for your problem, is there a way to install the bulb from the ouside in... like take off the lens and reflectors and install the bulb that way? If not then you can look in some autoparts store to see if you can find an LED light to fit in there instead.

But yeah, just throw the altezzas in the trash... problem solved.

That really isnt providing much help.....

from the looks if that hole, it is meant for the side light, you know, that itty bitty bulb that lights up the very side of the taillights whenever you turn on your headlights..i dont have altezzas, but from the looks of it, they only let you use ONE brakelight bulb. I believe that you put one of the brakelight bulbs on the turn signal holes???

my brother is selling his clears if any body wants them. they are clean with no damage to them at all.

OK, my euros have the same hole in them, and my light fit right in, cause the bulb is mad with a little clip thing on it. I dont know if it depends on the year your car is, that might be one of the differences between the 88-89 models and the 90-91 models, but mine is a 90 and like i said, it fit perfictly, here is a pic of the euros i have,, they are a little different then yours. http://www.nopionline.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=dsplargepic&vpic=L8460580.jpg

that space is for a lil 194 bulb to go, it has to alligator clips on the sides to fit in the holes.

the best way to fix your altezzas would be to take them off and throw them in the trash because altezzas look hideous on about 99% of vehicles.

if you are talking about the ones that stick out ... those are so gay!

anyways, I think altezzas look aight on certain colors like white or silver ... and black housing altezzas look good on dark colored cars ... personally id just tint the stock tails if I had a dark colored car or was going for the monochrome look with white on black like my friend did ... cause his shit looks tight with the tinted tails and the dark ass windows.

the only altezzas that look at all decent are carbon fiber with the middle shaved or the SiR ones. take back the altezzasand get your money back, you should do custom stuff other then go with what everybody already has. everybody had a civic with altezzas and a generic muffler and it sounds hella raspy. try to be different and do custom stuff. stay away from Apc and Obx and dont rice out your car..

GL Civics are what came out in Australia. A varient of the JDM XT25, they came out with power windows, steering (and in '90) windows and a D15 with ECU controlled twin-carbs rated at 100ps. They also got a full center console, tach and clock. No XT25/SiR front bonnet/bumper and wing though. Both Hatch and Sedan came out in this config and air-con was usually thrown in due to the Aussie summers.

This was in comparison to the Si CRX we got running the ZC standard and marketed as a performance alternative to the Civic. There were no other models between '88-'89 although in late '90 a limited number of XT25 optioned Civics (SiR bonnet, bumpers, no wing) hit our shore. There were also Mugen Kitted CRXs running Mugen 5 spoke wheels and a very limited run of Mugen kitted GL Civics. Cosmetic only, not performance.

With the rise of the EG, we then got the "Breeze" (as in needed a good tailwind to move this POS) 1.3 single carb, 1.6 EFi called the GLi, Si (ZC/D16a9) and VTi (1.6 SOHC VTEC), plus the uber-ghey Del Slow in VTEC and non-VTEC, marketed as a CRX - pity so many people were taken in by this, it sure as hell wasn't in the traditions of the CRX.

i think what he meant was he either likes the CF tezzas with a stock middle piece OR SiR tails.
