Brake Rotors

Okay so I'm overseas at the moment and got my old man to get the pads done on my Holden Crewman Ute. I said just the front pads, rotors are fine, no shudder at all but pads are well used. Of course the mechanics tell him that the rotors are too thin for them to fit pads so they have to replace. No big deal $300 all up for new rotors, pads & labor but it seems every time you get breaks these days they want to replace rotors. Anyway that's my whine for today! thanks all
