Front door Central Door Locking (CDL) latch

Hi

Could someone please tell me the subsystems of a Front door CDL latch, I am new to looking into the automotive world and wanted to see if I could make one buying spare parts. I have looked online and can't really seem to find anything, or maybe I just don't know what to search.

Also if anyone knows the legislative requirements that would be appreciated.
