M3 (E30) by Beemax !!!

Hobby Link Japan & Hobbysearch are taking pre-orders for this kit now, also for th P/E that goes with it......I have mine already pre-ordered.

Release date is suppose to be late November.

I pre-ordered 2 kits, and I don't even like BMWs. LOL
(E30 M3 is one of few exceptions)

Decal sheet. Really surprised that they used gold foil-like decals for the Warsteiner logos.

You would need to modify the front and rear spoilers.

Looks promising! The box and the instructions are beautiful. There will be interesting to compare the body and the wheels with my own.

That's mine pre ordered with photo etch. Hopefully some nice engines come out too

I just started working on my. well just the hood. I notice all the body parts are grainy like orange peel. Are we suppose to sand that off or leave it? or what is reason they made it like that? underside of the hood is very smooth.

I have found some mistakes in the kit.
The most noticeable mistake is the wrong inclination and the shape of the windscreen.

The second big mistake is the wheel size. This should be 18", but we see 19" in the kit.

Nevertheless, this kit is 100 times better than the Fujimi's one.

But mikhail the problem is..who else will have your model besides you?..are you planning to put it available?

The slight surface roughness is to give some tooth for primer to adhere to. Don't sand it- spray it with primer, and then sand/polish the primer smooth.

saw that kit at my friend's. i would say some efforts are needed to acheive a good finish..

2 Porsnatic: My own body still far from finish. I just indicated some important for my eyes inaccuracies and I'm a little disappointed because I was hoping to use the complete body from Beemax instead of my own. This body is much better than mine in many ways. I think that I will use it with little corrections, when I return to the building.
