Hi all,
New poster here and a Subaru Impreza hatchback owner myself.
I'm fairly novice when it comes to car but one line I've found interesting recently is the Mini Cooper.
However, I was wondering where the Mini Cooper's sold in the U.S. are made?
From what I understand the MC's are made outside of the U.S. but where specifically? Are they still made in the UK or in Austria at Magna Steyr?
Thank you for your answers.

The original plant in Oxford is still in operation, but there is also a plant in the Netherlands to keep up with demand for the mini Cooper.
The Austria plant does the countryman and the paceman.
There are rumors flying around about Mini production facilities in New Jersey and Texas, but they could just be receiving locations from which the cars are distributed all over the US. Just because these places have a large number of minis in their facilities doesn't mean they're building them there.
