Damn, This Rocks SHO!!

SHO may have the user base, but every time I want to go to the site I hit "load", then take a piss, catch a sitcom, copy the Bible by hand, and then come back in hopes that it loaded (as opposed to time out, which happens quite frequently). The scary thing: I have a T1 here at my house. This site is so quik its like I'm browsing it locally (on my hard drive). Mad props, now lets just get the Luders in here!!

We're trying to build a worthwhile site to come back to, whether to get the latest digs on new rides, tech. info (this database is still building, but it's starting to take the shape that I personally want it to have, though it needs lots of work), and I think we're doing great already in the shooting the shit department (and unlike some other sites, that is definitely encouraged here). I'm glad you like it.

The T1 my parents had put in for ease of telecommunication...we can't get cable modem here for at least another year (stupid Adelphia...) and we're too far away for DSL, so my parents got the T1 put in.

How much do you pay for T1?

Hell yeah!! know what you mean! I have dsl as well it is a 512KBPS connection and T1 is a 1.5MPBS connection and i still can barely ever connect to SHO.. we need to bring all those people to here!!!!

where you speed testing it at?? Mine actually runs a lil slower (i think) then it should be as far as web page loading is concerned.. I download files at a steady 52KPBS tho which is right cause usually you download at 1/10th what your connection is... :sun:

dsl well mine costs around 40 bux with a free modem etc (512KBPS).. you can talk on the phone while using it etc.. umm a t1 is usually bout 60 bux sometimes more.. you can get dsl purty cheap these days tho.. cable modems are cool too but if too many people get on them at once they slow down cause the bandwidth goes away.. but when peeps arent on then it is actually faster then dsl ..

I pay $40 for my DSL, its a lil over 600k, plus the free modem.
How fast is T1?

it is 1.5 mbps.. which is fast as shit about triple my 512 connection...

and it only costs $60 a month??
