2004 Envoy XL possible electrical issue Pleas Help

I had a issue pop up today. When i parked my envoy and turned off the key and removed it the battery light and gear indicator light stayed on. I tried starting the car and checked to make sure i was in park shut off the vehicle and no change those two light stayed on

Probably a a bad ign switch,common issue.
