Fujimi dc5

Working on his one at the mo, for some reason the paint will not go down flat on this one for me so I'll have to wet sand it and hopefully it will be ok. Just doing a quick build on it and not messing around with it too much.
After test fitting the standard wheels they looked terrible, they were completely lost in the arches. I had a set of resin te37's so in going to use them on this, there only 4 stud but I'll ignore it on this one.

I don't have any pics of the start of the build but I started adding a little detail to the interior, I sprayed the entire interior with satin black and then started adding a bit of detail. Made a template for the red material on the doorcard

I then cut it out in styrene and painted in flat red

I was going to paint them white but I was thinking it may look a little tacky, if I painted one and wanted to strip the paint afterwards what would be the best way without damaging the wheel

Started polishing the paint tonight, few blemishes but not bad

This is nearly finished, just have to attach wipers and rear view mirror. Also have to paint the calipers but I'm waiting on the paint to be delivered, it's a real pain not having a model shop nearby since MC models closed down

Good a few small bits done this evening. Started by painting and detailing the callipers(sorry pics are terrible quality)

At the widest point (the flange) it's measures .78

It was the first time I have attempted this, I got a pin vice last week so i drilled a .30mm hole and super glued in place, a bit hard to see but look really well in person

Looking great! I love the color/wheel/everything combo. Great work on the interior, as well.
