Starting Issue

Hello

Have a 2003 Buick Rendezvous with 340000 Km on it

The SUV is having a strange starting issue.

Turn the key to start, and one of two things hapen
1, its starts and all is well
2, all we hear is a click under the hood. but keep trying (turn the ignition off and on), and eventually it will start

The issue is getting worse.

I am assuming the starter is dying, but before I replace it, just wanted a pro's point of view

Check battery cables and starter connections. Check the starter/cranking relay.

sounds like your starter/solenoid is worn out and needs replacing. next time it does it see if you can find someone else to turn key so you can pinpoint where the click is coming from

I have a 2006 rendezvous & the only issue I am having is when I go to fill up my tank; it "NEVER" wants too start. Can someone please help me figure out why this is happening?

when it doesn't want to start is engine turning over when you turn key or just clicks or?
