Yamaha YZR-M1 2014 Movistar Rossi

This will be my new project, Yamaha YZR -M1 2014 , for it will use transkit the KS- WORKSHOP , detailed set and the TOP STUDIO drive chain , and also will use thermal heaters tires FGMODEL .

I will use the 2009 tamiya model as the basis for this project.

John, the transkit so far seems very good, decals are tamiya and studio27 quality , just post the first photos .

The hard option, red striped, tires where definately used during the 2014 season. Are you aiming for a special race build, if so I can check the tyre choice of Rossi for you?

Where did you get the FG Model resin rear "tire warmer" part from??
Everywhere I have looked for it on the internet for sellers - say it is out of stock.

Also where did you get the tubing for the brake and clutch reservoir to master cylinder - and what is the manufacturer name and part number??

And same for the small piece of wire mesh for the exhaust can?? or is that part of the K's Workshop transkit?

Joel - I believe those are T2M detail parts

I have some Tuner Model Manufactory brake line fittings that are identical to what Sandro has used on this build.

Since the guy who started T2M was hospitalized a year or maybe more ago due to health issues the hobby shops have all but exhausted any inventory of T2M stuff and word is it unless someone buys T2M from the bloke who started it we will not see any of the fantastic stuff he produced for the model industry.

Really a sad affair

John, First thanks for replying to Joel : iceslolan , that's exactly right, and it really is a very sad news to know that responsible for the T2M is hospitalized , I hope to recover and then return to make these excellent pieces .

As the FG Model parts, found in HLJ , but already a long time , maybe a couple of years ago , as the wire mesh leakage I used a transkit to spare the Top Studio does not come across the Workshop K , as the brake cylinders tubes I used Front Fork Set Kawasaki, Tamiya.

Another advance in this Assembly today decided to make the levers.

I removed the handles of the original levers and replaced by the MFH , chewy .

Another piece I tried to play was the lever guard , used a brass bar with pliers was making the folds and flattened the ends with a hammer, then painted black and applied decal fiber. On the front of the right would be a decal with the number 46, but the decal that comes along is too small and poorly done, so I decided to put a VR .

John, in conversation with my supplier here in Brazil, he told me that sends the inks to USA without problem , I am not able to speak with him these days for this to work in Chile.

Finally the model is ready , I will leave without the lower fairing .

Did you drill the hole - opening for the exhaust can??

The ones I bought from K's Workshop do not have a hole - the resin exhaust can is solid.
