The EB110 is a car that looks much better in the flesh than photographs, generally, and looking at the model has the same effect. It's a much better-resolved design than it looks at first glance.
Probably one of the hardest kits I've ever built. The level of detail is fantastic, especially around that complex engine bay, but sometimes it's more ambitious than the toolmakers could live up to. The body shell out of the box is pretty flimsy, with "working" front bonnet and engine cover, so I glued them in place to help straighten out the main body piece.

You definitely don't see many of these built, the kit is fiddly but if you can achieve a result as good as yours it's well worth the build. Great result!

Don't think I've ever seen one built, very nice result and great WIP thread too. If I ever actually get to building mine at least now I know it can be done and have a great reference to help along the way, thanks!

Beautiful kit and I really appreciate your WIP thread. Car looks awesome and paint job seems flawless with one exception, the panel lines which I think takes the overall impression down a few points on the scale.

Thanks, guys...
Joel... you're right. It wasn't until AFTER I'd taken the photos and started processing them that I noticed I'd smudged the panel line marker while handling the car for the pics. It's fixed now, and I've ordered some proper Gundam markers, where hopefully the ink will actually dry!

Thanks, gentlemen...
The Revell kit isn't the same as the Airfix/Heller kit. It's engineered differently. Airfix does the whole of the cabin upper-works as a single transparent part, whereas Revell moulds the roof and pillars with the body, and has a transparent window insert. The Revell kit is also way more complex and detailed around the engine. krzysiekg -- if you are able and willing to buy from UK eBay, the Revell kit turns up probably more often than the Airfix one, usually as a (wildly inappropriate!) Gift Set, with paints and glue!
