My first WIP on this site,i've decided to build the Aoshima 1999 Miata:
the Chassis was painted hot rod grey primer and the suspension parts with various Tamiya and testors paint.

I,didn't want another red sports car and in 99'Miatas were offered in a color called Evolution Orange,i found a close color from Nissan called Orange mist.the body is dull because I haven't added the clear yet.For the interior,i'm thinking of a light tan color.more updates as they happen, still trying to figure out the posting thing!!!

Very nice start. The box art appears to show a left-hand drive; is that what the model has? I have a few Aoshima Mazda Miata/MX-5/Roadster kits and they are all right-hand drive.
Nice choice on the Evolution Orange too - that was never available down here to Aus. We have a Titanium Grey 2003 NB(8C) with the full SE/Mazdaspeed bodykit (+ 3" exhaust, extractors, DDM cold air intake, YellowSpeed coilovers ...), and have always thought it would look great in Evolution Orange. Looking forward to progress on this!

Thanks for the comment potsie,it does come with left hand drive and I really like the color to it's very different. All the other Aoshima Miata's i have are right hand only to,guess they wanted to cash in on North American sales with it.
