I got a car !!

Hey all;

Just thought I'd share that I got a 1998 VW Golf GL today ..
has 65.5K miles on it, but is a Certified VW so I got a 2 year/24,000 mile warranty thrown in for a total of $8000.

Now I have to learn to drive stick before i break my car :frown:

I have to pay back $3000 and pay insurance, etc., so it will be a little while before I have any money to do anything with the car .. it has a Pioneer Head Unit though, so I can live with it stock for now :)

I tried visiting your Cardomains photo link, but the first thing I see is an advertisement stating, "Escape Now", so I do, I close the window!
It's like opening a door into a strange warehouse and hearing someone should, Get The Phuk Out Now! Of course, being in an alien new environment, I would likely exit promptly, as I did here.

It's the advertisers fault, and "automotiveforums.com"'s daily poison.

Wow, didn't expect to see my post bumped back up here, lol.

My golf is still drivin strong, I absolutely love it :)
Hopefully it survives the harsh winter up here in the mountains, its used to friendly San Diego weather!
