Congrats Jochen! Spectacular build!

And everyone else who entered, there were so many great builds and it made it hard to pick a favorite. There was lots of eye candy in the contest thread!

Strong showing by the race cars this year!

By the way, I wanted to thank you in particular, Hawk. Year after year, you are one of the first ones to send in you entry, and all your builds are truly spectacular. I always catch myself going to your WIP threads looking at your builds. Thanks for making this year contest a success with yet another beauty!

It was honestly really hard to choose. Everyone's builds were great, and It could have easily been a multi-way tie for every spot. Some day, I will have something actually finished 100% to contribute. That in itself is an accomplishment.

A big thanks to Alex for organizing this contest again, to all you guys who helped to make it possible, and to anyone who took the time to send in their votes!
It was much fun to keep track of the scores, the battle for 1st and for 3rd place was pretty close and intense at times!
Congrats to all the winners!

He he, my 2 favorites are 1st and 2nd :naughty:
Congratulations to them, I think only the weathering of the 917 made the difference because at least a dozen of the builds deserved a medal.

And congratulations to some others too (I think firun and afxracing amongst others) who succeeded in making bits of plastic look like MFH kits (that, in a sense, require less work because "everything is in the box") ;)

Guys, what do you think about launching AFMOTY as standalone annual online contest? I can develop website and integrate it with Facebook or Twitter for example.

First of all, I must thanks all the organizing team which make this event happened. Especially an enormous thanks and a respect to Alex, for his effort and time, he gives to AFMOTY. Alex, please count me to help you for next year event.

Next, thank you all gentlemen, for voting my 312PB. Really appreciate it.

For the result, what a great pleasure to be in the winners list between two great friends and modellers like Jochen and Dimitris.
Jochen, my best congratulations for your win, really you deserve it 100%.

For the closed battle, maybe I'm the closest "looser" in AFMOTY history , isn't it? But beware this little joke, no "loosers" here in this event. The participation is a win and all the competitors maybe proud for such a high level of modelling skills and passion. All the models looks awesome.

Best regards
George
