I tried posting this in the quest forums but got no reply so I'm hoping someone in here might know.

I have a 96' quest that after I replaced a fuel injector barely idles and will die after I rev it up. It wasn't idling at all at first but I found a vaccum leak and fixed it now it idles very low but if I pump the gas it isn't able to catch itself and dies. I measured the vaccum at 18 but I can't find any specs on what it should be. I've also sprayed every vaccum hose and port I can find with brake cleaner trying to find additional leaks along with the air plenum. Anyway if somebody knows where the vac pressure should be or has any ideas Id be greatful for the info. Thanks

Ok so I found some general specs and my vacuum is within range. However it's still idling at around 300 rpm and will die if I pump the gas and let off quickly. So I tried some things and found one change I thought was strange. At idle there was no vacuum leaving the canister this no vacuum to egr or anything else for that matter. I bypassed te canister just to see what would happen and by hooking the egr and other linked components up to vacuum the idle came up and ran smooth. Problem is im not sure what this means for my problem lol.
