2012 antenna replacement

Broke the original roof mounted whip antenna off. Can someone tell how to take the interior light out of the roof liner so I can get to the antenna base? Does anyone have any links to a stubby antenna that still gets satellite?

I was able to get the interior light lense off but I don't see how to remove the light base to gain access to the antenna base. Do I have to drop the headliner?
