McLaren F1 GTR "Lark" Le Mans 1997 Aoshima / 1:24

Hi Guys,

Somthing very new for the Aoshima booth on the Nürnberger toy fair 2015!

Because I have not enough time, I´m building only the body shell of the McLaren and using my chassis of my finished "Fina" McLaren.

Painted with a mix of Zero Paint "Marlboro" red and Nismo "Hot Pink"

For the 2. colour I used Tamiya "gun metal"
The kit contains decals for the gray Areas.

Hi,

Great build so far!

I have a question regarding the headlight issue that has been mentioned in other threads about the Aoshima McLaren F1 GTR.
I understand that there are some parts not included in the Presentation / Pre-season testing version of the kit needed to make a Le Mans 24h car, but I have not understood exactly what the difference is.

I am planning to build the Lark F1 GTR Long-tail and the idea was (ordered the kit when only the pre-season version was known...) to use the test version as the base.

What changes are needed to make this look correct?
Is it even possible to produce the parts?
Has anyone tried buying the missing parts from Aoshima?

Hi Guys,

@ Johan The different outside is only the rearwing and the frontlights to Le Mans car.
For the frontlights you can ask by Aoshima, the rearwing you can by yourself.
