alternator mount probs

ok so i owna civic but am doing a 90 ls motor swap. but i just tried to put on my alternator but the top bolt didnt fit , the alternator was just alittle to high up. i was wondering if anybody coudl like take a pic of the whole alternator setup mounted on there car for me so i can see what it looks like and whats wrong. i really need it
