No power to starter, all lights come on, heater etc. could this problem be a ignition relay? if so where is the relay located?

Have you tried starting with shifter in neutral? Purple wire from shift select switch on trans feeds the starter. If no power out, check for power into it on the yellow wire when cranking. If no power there, then the problem in either in the ignition switch, or the wiring between. Also, is the security or theft light on? If so, that would be a problem also. Just for kicks, also check the 40amp IGN SW-BAT 1 fuse in the under hood fuse box. If There is voltage at the starter and still won't crank, replace the starter.

Thank you for that info, I will check these wires, and I have checked all the fuses and they are not burnt, the car started fine to get to point "B" but then nothing, could the starter go dead just like that or is it something that's too simple to see?

Starters don't always give you a warning, so yes, it's possible it just crapped out.
