Rear Speaker Replacement-94 Prizm

Does anyone have any shortcuts for replacing the rear speakers in a 94 Prizm? The shop manual says to remove the c-pillar trim, rear deck and center stop light. I was wondering if anyone had any luck with some shortcuts. Thanks.
