Oil filter coming loose

After an extended trip in the last two days, I happened to check the tightness of the screw on oil filter. To my surprise it was about 1/2 turn loose and oil was leaking out.
I noticed this looseness right after I bought it and tightened it then. When the dealer gave me the free oil change, the filter was on tight.
I have never seen this happen on any car I have owned. What could cause the filter to become loose after it was properly installed at the oil change?
The car has 25K miles. The car is a 2013 LaCrosse V6.

Have seen it, don't have an explanation though. Delco filter I am assuming? We have been going 3/4 to a full turn after gasket contact and it seems to be helping.

Yes, it is a Delco PF-63. I can't believe the GM service center would forget to put oil on the rubber gasket. When I bought the car, it had a non-AC Delco filter.
At any rate, I will be checking it regularly from now on.

Make sue the old gasket/seal is not stuck to the, two seals can cause and worse.

I thought of that but you would think the GM service center would check that before installing the new filter. I will be changing my own oil and filter from now on.
I also wonder if the threads on the oil inlet shaft could be worn or stripped. The filter does tighten up when I turn it, but for some reason it loosens a bit while driving.

it is either the wrong filter, double gasketed or defective threads..
