Best night vision headlights?

Hi all, I was going to get my husband new headlights as a Christmas present and a little research showed I don't know enough to choose. We have a 2011 truck, 3500 4 wheel drive duramax that we pull a big trailer with. His night vision has deteriorated and I was hoping better headlights would help. Are the new LED lights better or what might be the best choice? I'm hoping somebody has experience with this. Thanks
