Just purchased 2004 GP mainly for my wife. Shes about 5'3" ans has no problem with headroom. I however am 6'3" and have trouble with my head hitting the roof unless I recline the seat to the point I feel as though I am lying down while driving. Not the most comfortable. I love the car but was wondering if anybody might have had the same issue and somehow lowerer the seat?

Is the driver seat power? If so it has a wide range of adjustability up to lowering the seat. I have mine all the way down and there is no way to make it lower.

If it is not power I cannot attest to room to lower, though chances are, options are limited.

Yes it is power. I do have it all the way down, and tilted toward the back to create more head room. I sit a little to the middle of the car also as it has a sun roof and I feel like There is a little more head space there. I might explore this spring. Too much winter right now and not the most important thing.

I also have some work to do on the radio and the HUD.

Your biggest problem with headroom is the sunroof.

I don't quite understand. Unless the roof is actually thicker because it has a sunroof? If I sit straight up my head is centered just to the left of the 1/4 to 3/8 thick trim that surrounds the sunroof. Where the sunroof is is higher by a couple of inches.

Yes the roof is thicker to account for the sunroof mechanism causing a loss of headroom. The guys in 3000GT/Stealth's run into the same issue.

OH OK that explains it.

Thanks for that!
