planning to buy-turbo hatch

so im planning to buy a turbo hatchback it has a custom turbo kit on the stock d-series motor and i was wondering what problems i should look for and what questions to ask the current owner he uses it as a daily driver and he commutes to work so it prolly has alot of Highway miles im not sure what turbo it has on it or exatly how many miles ether im going next week to go take a closer look so any help would be appriciated so i dont pick up a P O S car

Ask him how much boost he has been running. Better not be more than 7 PSI or else I wouldn't get it. Is it intercooled? If not I say don't get it if he's been boosting more than 5 PSI. Also look for a boost gauge and an Air/fuel gauge, if somebody is serious about keeping a turbo car from blowing up they will have these.

it has a nice FMIC i think he said he was runs 7psi wen he used to race it but now since its his commute car he has it as 5 or 3 or somthing


i saw a few guages im not sure what they where because i didnt get enough time to look also i forgot to mention the price....1500!!!
