How hard is it to remove that stripe? I keep thinking something like a razor blade but that would scratch my car all to hell (Like it isn't already), If I make my own clear corners, Do I need and amber bulb or can I just use the one in there? thanks. Nice car btw.

Ur gonna have trouble with the clear corners...the yellow is the corner lens itself, so I think so you'll need to get a pair of clears...they are about $15, and I have put on a pair since this pic. I also went with amber bulbs to avoid the cops bothering me. It looks nice at night I think. After seeing GrandCivic's car, I think i am gonna paint my clears all amber, or reinstall the stock ones and try to match up the original yellow with some paint for the clear part
I took out the orange thingie in the turn signal too, but went to an amber bulb, cuz I personally think it is too bright and glaring when some ass is behind me with hyperwhites or white bulbs in their blinkers , and again, gives the cops one less thing to bug you about.
As for the stripe, I think a heat gun, or maybe even a hair dryer would be sufficient..along with a something like acetone (or something a little less caustic) to remove the residue although my paint is all scratched/chipped to hell and faded, I don't want it to be any worse from a razor blade :bloated:

i dont think its worth it to get clear corners cause they dont match the headlights for shit and are all bright and everything ... but im deff down with tryin to go all amber with em cause thatll looks tight.

Yeah..that or the smoked look with black projectors
i do have the issue of the clears being all bright compared to the reflective properties of the headlights...part of that is the black deflector on the low beam bulb to keep it from shining directly in peep's eyes I guess :bloated:
I have a replacement headlight for my one with a hole in it..maybe I should experiment and take apart and remove the black thing to see if it looks any better :naughty:

i saw some corners that were black wtih clear lenses, they looked hella tight. can you just take the plastic off, paint the casing black and reattach the lense?

ci5ic tried to paint the housing on the corner lenses and the lens flew off about a week later.
I made tinted bumper lenses for my car a while ago and they were stolen ... they didnt match anyways so its all good.
