Every one talks all about the Polygon lasso but does noone use the Magnetic one...and if you don't why not?

Seems like it works very well...and is easier to select lines I used it to chop the girl in my sig.

yea its a good tool, but dont' always work as well as you need it too. A good way to use it when it does go nuts is just use it to get as much of it selected and then go clean up with the poly lasso. Thats what I usually do.

why do that when you could just use the polygon tool. it comes out way smoother and if you use the magnetic and then go over with the poly thats just double the work. illl just stick to the polygon tool.:thefinger

i rarely use the lasso tools. i stick to masking around my selection, or masking what i want and inverting it.

the zoom is all good with the poly lasso tool, but not that good with the magnetic lasso because you can't scroll that well with it.

And I wasn't saying that I use the magnetic lasso all the time, just works sometimes. A lot of the time i use the poly lasso because of how clean it is, just depends on what im working on and if i need the edges that clean or not. When I do use the magnetic lasso, i use the feather function along with it to feather the edge out some.
