Rusted Trailing Arm Mount

I am about to dig into the rust-eaten mounts for the trailing control arms, and see about welding on a new plate, and mount for them. I figure I might end up removing the back seat, and see if I have any rust there. This will be an interesting job.
Rust is the name of the game for this car, but with all the work I've done recently, it runs wonderfully, starts great, and is a comfortable ride. At 80 MPH, it just "floats" on the freeway.
Has anyone else done the work of changing out the mounts in a rust-bucket?
