OK, now I can see it!

It's a Model T Ford. Given the headlights and the front support, I'd guess that it's a 1918. The car has been modified a bit. Some of the rear bodywork appears to have been removed, along with the rear fenders. The windshield also appears to have been cut down. None of this is surprising because used Model Ts could be bought for a song and many owners modified them to suit their own tastes and needs.

BTW... that's a really cool photo! Here's a shot from the same era showing my Uncle Bill in his Model T which had been converted to a 'speedster'. He called it the "Wildcat".
