Warranty coverage , 2nd owner 2011 Ford Fiesta

I recently bought a 2011 Ford Fiesta , it has 27,000 miles on it. I have been experiencing the rattle, grinding noises from the transmission as previously discussed in this forum. I am gonna be taking this to a dealer so they can further research it. I am eager to find out if I am covered by a warranty . I am I believe the 2nd or 3rd owner and what I have been reading I am covered under the powertrain for 5yrs/60000 miles. Is this correct, can I get more input, I appreciate it thanks '

My understanding was some noise is normal for these transmissions. I'll be following your thread to see what you learn.
