Hello all, awhile back I had posted something about vibrating well I don't know what else it could be

I have had the transmission replaced, all the engine mounts replaced, tune-up, new pressure control solenoid replaced, oil pressure sensor replaced

after the all this work the last thing done was the Pressure Control Solenoid and the vibrating has calmed down some

It is still vibrating in idle (Park, in Drive, Sitting at stop light, stop sign) also I noticed that you hear some popping type sounds coming from behind the dash sounds weird but the shop said being that my car had the age and miles on it, that it will probably do that but I have a Buick Lesabre 05' with 105K on it and my uncle has a 03 Buick Lesabre with 300K on it and it runs smooth does anyone know what the hell this vibrating is or coming from?

after all the work they did on my car. The dealership could not find out what was wrong. So I took it to a shop on my own choosing they found it was the Pressure Control Solenoid that was causing the hard shifting after they replaced that it calmed down some but now its back like it was especially if you turn on the controls for the air/heat rear defrost I don't know what the hell is wrong with it. It is so irritating feeling it and seeing the vibration and like I said you only feel/see when it sits in idle if I put it in park it calms down a lot but still some vibration

Why was the tranny replaced? Used, new, or rebuilt? The PCS was replaced twice?

It is still vibrating in idle (Park, in Drive, Sitting at stop light, stop sign)

That vibrating would not be caused by anything you have replaced....

also I noticed that you hear some popping type sounds coming from behind the dash sounds weird but the shop said being that my car had the age and miles on it, that it will probably do that

If these are the same guys that did all that work, and it didn't fix your original problem, then I would be suspicious of their work ethic...."the age and miles on it" excuse is just that an excuse for not knowing what is wrong.....

but I have a Buick Lesabre 05' with 105K on it and my uncle has a 03 Buick Lesabre with 300K on it and it runs smooth does anyone know what the hell this vibrating is or coming from?

Vibrating is not much of a description....are you talking about a misfire? An exhaust leak?

after all the work they did on my car. The dealership could not find out what was wrong.

Was this a GM dealership?

So I took it to a shop on my own choosing they found it was the Pressure Control Solenoid that was causing the hard shifting after they replaced that it calmed down some but now its back like it was especially if you turn on the controls for the air/heat rear defrost

So, you had a tranny and a PCS put in, and this shop put another PCS in? Again, was this a GM shop? It tends to act up when the rear defogger is turned on?

I don't know what the hell is wrong with it. It is so irritating feeling it and seeing the vibration and like I said you only feel/see when it sits in idle if I put it in park it calms down a lot but still some vibration.....

Methinks, you need to go to someone who knows what they are doing......

First thing to find out is, if this vibration is engine related or transmission related....if happening in park, you would tend to think engine......

Was this vibration there BEFORE the tranny was put in?

All the work was done by a mechanic shop of the dealership(s) choosing except the pressure control solenoid that was done by a GM Dealership

the vibrating has been a constant thing ever since I have gotten the vehicle
I would feel the vibration while sitting u can see the dash hear the dash vibrating rattling etc.

the tranny was rebuilt and the PCS was replaced once

I kept having these hard shifts and they kept guessing on what the problem was at the first shop first they thought it was the mounts then replaced all of them then they kept saying it was the tranny so they kept taking it apart and putting in new parts then they finally replaced the tranny
then they had to to put in a new oil pressure sensor cause the oil pressure was above 180psi
then after all that time it was still hard shifting
so I took it to a GM dealer they said the problem was the PCS
they replaced it no more hard shifts but said they could not figure out what the vibration was and due to age a vehicle it would do that
it is still vibrating especially when you turn on air controls for a/c or heat, rear defrost
