Hi guys, finally some sunshine again, so today I'm presenting my latest work, the Ferrari 599XX EVO from APM.
http://i1060.photobucket.com/albums/t459/kjenjak/P1080692_zpse42868bc.jpg
The resin kit itself has already been presented in this forum, it's a very good kit, very nicely molded, with sharp edges and crisp details, no flash, very few mold lines, parts fit extremely well, all parts and materials are included in the kit, like decals, photo-etched parts, wires, seatbelts... Also the interior looks very nice with the details provided in the kit. Only thing I had to add were C/F decals and tires. Two things were quite strange about the kit however, the resin tires, which had a cylindrical form (which doesn't make sense at all) and the inner door panels, which were from 599 GTB and not XX, so they had to be rebuilt.
The kit is a complete curbside, so literally no details at all for engine, suspension, undercarriage, no steerable wheels (but still rotating).
I decided to go for color scheme of car #91. Paint is Zero's Bianco Fuji, topped with TS 65 pearl clear, and GTO decal stripes from Hobbydesign. All black surfaces on the outside (except the window frames) are covered in hi-res C/F decals, topped with flat clear. The numbers 91 were printed on a laser printer.
Not all specific details of the kit are correct for car #91, but I think it still looks nice.
Here are the pictures, all comments/critics/questions welcome.

No, Zero Paints Bicano Fuji is a Pearl White colour, not sure why youd need to pearl clearcoat it, but damn it looks good!!!
Great work!!!

Great work!!!
When I did my 430 Scuderia Spider 16 M, I also painted it with Zero's Bianco Fuji, but coated it with TS13 gloss clear, sanded and polished it. The result was a kind of shiny metallic white. Or maybe not pure white, but pearl white as color, but with a shiny metallic finish.
Here I wanted this real pearl finish, so I topped it with Pearl Clear. Pure ZP paint has a rather flat finish, and also it's quite soft and thin, and is very easily damaged. So I definitely wanted to clearcoat it, and TS65 seamed the best option, since I kind of prefer TS paints over other options. (Lazy me... )
Did you give your FXX a glossy finish, or rather pearl or semi-gloss? You used ZP 1K clear, right?
