eclipse for first car..need help

hey all im 16 and im lookin at eclipses' ...for my car i would want something similer to this

its about $525..how much would it cost to get the kit painted and installed on the car??..i really could care less for speed all i want to do is make the car look nice..please post ur opinions about this

You definetly wont get a warm reception from the DSM crowd when bodykits, and other apperance mods are mentioned, but do as you please.

1.how much does it cost to get the blitz kit painted and installed on ur car?

2. does the blitz fit every kind of eclipse from 95-99? if not plz post what vehicles it wont fit for.. thx

No offense, but ask the honda guys. I bet 90% of DSM oners have never even looked at/considered a bodykit for their DSM

Dont rag on us Honda guys cuz im both . Honda and mitsu. Point being bodykits are how can i say...useless. On that eclipse in particular , those things are slow as poo. Besides that fact If your going to go for "show" then go for aftermarket sideskirts (everyone here would agree that the RS model needs them , it just looks incomplete). Then lower it 2 inches. It ends up looking alot better / costing you less than a full body kit.

Body kits cost aroung 600 average . THEN 175-200 to ship the damnt things. As for install / paint. 2k bucks from a decent place. They will charge for drilling the holes /sanding it/ painting it (3 coats then clear coat).

I'm all for bodykits, but i would deffinetly look at something else besides the blitz, there are 5 cars around where i live with the blitz on it. Find something different to give us all something different to look at. The only thing that puts those cars apart from each other is the color.

Seriously if your going to spend all that money for the car and only put a kit on and get a paint job, your goin to regret it. There is a kid at my school he has a Eclipse RS w/ a carbon fiber hood a couple of decals and its a AT tranny. Doesnt have shit in the hood its all stock other than the appearence and all the ppl that actually know shit about cars just laugh at him, but he thinks hes sweet. If your just trying to impress stupid people go ahead, but your not goin to get respect from the people that know there shit and thats what really counts. Im 16 too, and im getting a chevy caviler for free so I shouldnt be talking but I got 6K saved up for a car and I would try to get something better, atleast spluge a lil and go for the GSX or GST then mabey youll have some power and people wont think your gay just cuz your going for apperance. Well I dunno im done ranting, do as you want.
