Pocher Aventador complete

First off - This model isn't like the Pocher classics.
For one thing, everything FITS superbly, there wasn't one single part missing and there are enough left over screws/bolts etc to build another kit!
A down-side though, is that there is far less to it - around 800 or so parts not counting the screws etc compared to the 3,500+ parts in the Rolls Torpedo I built some time ago.
Also, this model is severely lacking in engine detail.
Not just pipes, wires, plumbing etc (and the vast majority of it is missing) but there is also a fair amount of actual fittings/pumps/filters/coolers etc completely missing. Not good for a £500 model.....
Mind you, anyone building a kit of this kind is 'probably' quite happy to scratch build the missing stuff - as I did.
For REAL engine close-ups, look at my build thread here:
http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/234963415-pocher-18-aventador/
One BIG alteration to the kit was to make the whole rear end easily removable.
It lifts off in a few seconds and goes back just as easily.
OOB, 90% of the rear end and engine is forever hidden.
However, for now, the completed car....
Roy.

Hey Roy, Great build! & thanks for the removable rear instructions, I think I'll give that a go. Got to agree with you, for a 1/8 scale kit I was pretty disapointed with the details, think my 1/24 Aventador has sharper lines. Your WIP build has been very helpful to me, Thanks for all the detail & explantaions, as I'm about to embark on my first Pocher kit

Many thanks you guys.
The McLaren is the 1/8 scale Kyosho partworks kit.
Apparently, it's actually the 'same' model as the Amalgam mega-money model.
Kyosho make it for them.
Fantastic detail and quality - great fun to build.

Do you have to order it as the monthly or can you get the whole kit somewhere?
And I meant nice build stupid auto correct.

It was a weekly partwork in the UK and Japan.
It's finished now but I think you can still get it from here:
