94 nissan starting problem

I have a problem starting my 94 nissan pick up truck It clicks when I try starting it. I know it sounds like a starter is out. but in the past when my starter went out I would just push it and it would start. the problem is when I do that my rear wheels lock up and it dosent start I tried pushing it in reverse and my truck actually lurched forward I have no clue what it can be please help.

first make sure engine isn't frozen then try jump starting it or get battery charged and checked. if all those check out then you probably have a issue with your starter
