Kia cars

I never really liked the look of any korean car except the new tiburon, but i have heard that kia makes some pretty good cars. What's so good about them?

I'll never forget the KIA ad they always play on the radio where the guy screams, "DO U HAVE A JOB, DO U HAVE 199 DOLLARS!, THEN U CAN GET A KIA RIO!"

My friends mom has a Kia Sofia. It's garbage man. The tranny in the thing is basically shot after just around 16,000 miles of normal driving. I would say under 1,000 highway miles and the rest haven't been long distance trips at all. Just normal short trips here and there. It is an Automatic. Nevertheless it really hasn't been that great of a car. They depreciate really quickly although I can't say as quickly as Mitsubishi. Her car is like a '00 and only worth like 4 - 5 thousand and she bought it for right around $13,000+. My little input.

My sister's husband just bought a Kia Sorento full options. I can't understand why ha changed his 166 V6 Turbo, whatever, it seems to be a good car, full loaded for the price and the engine is not bad. Though, to me, Kia is not in my heart yet ! ;)
