Beautiful work as always, Sandro! Is the fork metal and from a fork kit?
Looks fabulous. Love that engine, the coloration is very subtle... Bravo!

Thank you Marco, but the front forks are Metal, and is part of the Top Studio kit detailing (TD 23066).

Sandro - I took another look at the excellent work and fine attention to detail that you do when you build a motorcycle since "sportracer" brought up this thread again and I have nothing to say but kudos.
One thing caught my eye that I didn't notice the first time I looked at your pics last year is the chain?? I do not believe that the original chain should be gold in color - Tsubaki - DID and RK did not start making the stronger "gold" side-link chains until the 90's when superbikes started making significantly more power. If I remember correctly it wasn't until 95' that I started using "gold" DID chains on my race unlimited superbike and Formula Extreme racebikes. Did you have a reference picture of the chain??

The "gold" chain on the GSXR is not a problem Sandro - it doesn't take away from the excellent work you did building this bike

It was just a comment that I made when I realized that the chain should have been a "steel" gray color

Just so other builders know the "gold" chains didn't start appearing until 94'-96'ish. The "gold"chains had a higher tensile strength than the regular chains to keep them from stretching under the loads of the higher torque and horsepower engines that the MFGs started to produce around the time of the Honda CBR900RR or FireBlade as it was known in Europe.
